Get Involved

We’re glad you want to get involved. Anyone is welcome, even if you have never done anything like this before. We have structured the activities by the length of time they take, but you are welcome to start by coming to a meeting or chatting to us if you prefer. Useful links are on our Linktree Linktree
5-minute activities
If you only have five minutes, here are some things you could do to support the campaign:
- Sign the petition – Our petition asks the Mayor of London to pilot free public transport in London, and to appoint a commission to write a report on the barriers and opportunities relating to free public transport: Sign the Petition
- Donate – Our expenses relate to things like room hire, website engineering and refreshments at our public meeting: Donate
- Keep in touch – Scan or click this QR code with your phone camera to join our WhatsApp announcements group, or use the form at the end of this page to join the email list (not many emails).
- Write to your Assembly Members – Using the template letter coming very soon to our website. The Greater London Assembly is organised based on boroughs, find out who your Assembly Members are here: Link to Assembly website
- Fill in our research – the survey aims to learn more about the impact of the cost of public transport on Londoners. You can fill in the survey either (1) by completing it in the Google Form, or (2) printing out the survey as a PDF, filling it in with a pen, scanning and returning it to us at info@farefreelondon.org.
